40 emerging architects and designers under 40 from Europe honored

The European Centre has honored 40 architects and designers under 40 years old, who they describe as “the most promising new talent in architecture and design from across Europe.”

The Europe 40under40 Award initiative attracted over 350 submissions, with names chosen from Belgium, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Cyprus, France, Greece, Iceland, Ireland, Poland, Portugal, Slovenia, Spain, Türkiye, and the United Kingdom.

The program was open to all early-career architects, landscape architects, urban planners, and industrial designers currently under the age of 40, whether working independently, in a firm, or on a specific project as a lead architect/designer.
