Austrian BUSarchitektur Win Masterplan Competition for Business School in Vienna

The architectural competition for the new master plan of the business school Vienna announced a winner: BUSarchitektur & architect Laura P. Spinadel, Vienna.

Architects were invited to submit their designs for the realization of the new Wirtschaftsuniversität Wien at the future location, south of Vienna’s fair grounds. The jury, chaired by Wolf D. Prix (Coop Himmelb(l)au) and Dietmar Eberle (Baumschlager-Eberle), decided to award the entry by Austrian BUSarchitektur & architect Laura P. Spinadel as the winning design.

The jury praised the interpretation of the classic campus concept as a vital link between city and the Prater, Vienna’s famous inner city park.

BUSarchitektur will now be contracted for the masterplanning.

The second place was given to two entries: Berger + Parkkinnen Architekten and ARGE Flatz_architects + Architekturbüro Zeytinoglu. There was no third place.
