Built By Women NYC highlights 100 of the best woman-built NYC projects

Let's hear it for the ladies of architecture, engineering, construction -- and all the women pursuing STEM careers. Launched by Beverly Willis Architecture Foundation this past fall, Built By Women NYC (BxW NYC) was a public competition that sought nominations for 100 of the best NYC-based projects designed, engineered, constructed, or managed by women.

Attracting over 350 nominations, the jury selected the projects that they believed were representations of strong design, have historical or cultural significance, or have made significant social or community impact.

In spirit of Women's History Month, a month-long exhibition showcasing the winning nominations is currently at the Center for Architecture in NYC.
