Chicago Architectural Club's 2014 Emerging Visions winners announced

Christopher Marcinkoski and Andrew Moddrell of PORT Architecture + Urbanism and Grant Gibson of CAMES/gibson were announced as the 2014 Emerging Visions. The annual portfolio competition recognizes major architectural works by young, influential architects and designers based in Chicago.
The competition's founder, the Chicago Architectural Club -- in partnership with the Graham Foundation and AIA Chicago -- made the announcement to a highly attended March 13 evening event at the Graham Foundation.
The winners will have their work exhibited at the 2014 AIA National Convention from June 26-28, 2014.
This year’s jury included EMERGING VISIONS alumni Michael Wilkinson, Sarah Dunn & Martin Felsen (UrbanLab), Tristan d’Estree Sterk (ORAMBRA), Karla Sierralta & Brian Strawn (Strawn.Sierralta), and Iker Gil (Mas Studio), AIA Chicago executive vice-president Zurich Esposito, Graham Foundation director Sarah Herda, as well as prize founders Elva Rubio and Dan Wheeler.
