I'm sorry to say, but half these racks don't work, especially the 'wheel benders' - ones where you can only lock your front wheel.

How about a bike rack that also serves as a seat?

Bike racks belong next to bus stops and at starting/finishing points for legs of journeys through downtown. So if there is no bike to be parked, lets have a seat while we wait for our bus/taxi/trolley/friend. Then while we're in the library, or otherwise away, our bike will preclude someone from sitting on that 'rack' but encourage them to sit adjacent - and perhaps keep our bikes safe by their presence.

These are pretty bad bike racks, especially when you can only lock your front wheel to some of them. Whoever designed them obviously don't ride a bike.

Just looking at the Fadarch ones made my head hurt, and made me feel dizzy!
I guess I would pick the "Andrew Lang and Harry Dobbs", the first design mentioned here. It's designed not to lock only the front wheel, which is worthless as far as security is concerned.

I like most of all Baronivaleriani Architetti. It looks really cool unlike the others. IMO

Nice designs, but most of them are not useful. Especially those, which do not lock the main fraim of bike, bot only wheels. However, in future, i think there'll be the most convenience method of racks

Somehow Cocoon is the most original of all. It looks simple and at the same time very modern. Though I can't fully understand right now how it is used for bikes.
