The submission deadline has been extended to March 10, 2008 for the eighth edition of Champ Libre, a biennial event that will take place in September 2008 in Montreal. The theme of Champ Libre is the forest, and project calls are open to those in the fields of art architecture, new technology and public space.

Champ Libre is looking for installations combining art and architecture to occupy contemporary public space while using new media components. They are interested in works that explore the architecture and spatial qualities of the site, while transforming the visual or aural perception of it.
