In celebration of their 125th anniversary, St. Hilda's College in Oxford is planning for an upgrade. Right now, the College is getting closer to finding the winning redevelopment concept in their Redefining St. Hilda's invite-only design competition. The more than £10 million project consists of improving student and Fellow accommodation, new social and teaching spaces, a new Middle Common Room, Porters' Lodge and entrance.
This past fall, the College selected five shortlisted concepts out of the 19 invited firms, but the designs weren't revealed until yesterday. The proposals will be on exhibition at the school for invited guests and stakeholders from February 1-12. Jury interviews with the teams will then take place the next month, and the winner is expected to be announced in late March 2016.

'These five teams have produced wonderful images and models to help us conceptualise their proposals,' said Professor Gordon Duff, St. Hilda’s College Principal. 'The brief was demanding and each team has responded with a different analysis of priorities and design opportunities. We very much look forward to the detailed assessment.'
