If you'll be in London this summer, be on the lookout for GRUPPE's House of Muses design that'll be displayed at the upcoming London Festival of Architecture 2014 starting June 6.
After being shortlisted with Neon and Sam Jacob + Pablo Bronstein, London/Zurich-based GRUPPE won the two-stage competition launched by the Museum of London and The Architecture Foundation. The competition sought the most fitting design for an interactive temporary structure that will invite the public to give feedback and contribute to developing the new Museum.
Check out renderings of the shortlisted designs below.
"The Museum of London will now work with GRUPPE to deliver the structure in time for the London Festival of Architecture. In the summer, the structure will act as the focal point for a series of events hosted by the Museum that will encourage the public to feed into the brief for the future vision of the Museum."
"The expert jury panel consisted of Oliver Wainwright, The Guardian Architecture Critic; Hannah Lawson, Director at John McAslan and Partners; and Vicky Richardson, Director Architecture, Design, Fashion, British Council; and representatives from The Architecture Foundation and the Museum of London."
