Konstantin Grcic to Receive Designer of the Year Award

Design Miami/, the global forum for design, nominated German designer Konstantin Grcic to be this year´s Desinger of the Year 2010.

Konstantin Grcic will show an exhibition of selected works as well as a new work, specially designed for the occasion: NETSCAPE is an installation offering public seating for visitors just outside the Design Miami/ exhibition tent. The piece consists of 24 swing seats (made from PP netting and fibre glass) hanging from a freestanding steel structure. The work will be on display from December 2nd - 5th, 2010.
