The College and the Victoria House in London's Southampton Row will be filled with over 100 leading international contemporary design brands during designjunction 2015 on September 24-27. As part of the upcoming 2015 London Design Festival, the designjunction tradeshow will showcase an array of cutting-edge designs from top-notch brands and the latest product launches in interior design.
On top of that, visitors can check out pop-up stores, talks, live workshops, flash factories, and eateries aplenty.
More info below.
The College — the former home of the Central Saint Martins — will become the backdrop to the Festival’s distinctive mix of international brands. Resonating with the building’s rich design history, designjunction will take over five floors of the Lethaby building as well as other stunning spaces within the campus.
Other features not to miss at The College include:
- A life-sized Pop-up Underground Installation designed by Camilla Barnard will feature an Underground station built entirely from wood. Located next to the TfL cafe, the hand-painted installation will display classic and new TfL design collections.
- The "Design for a Reason" seminar program: Chaired by Aidan Walker, the program — themed "Design for a Reason" this year — will explore how issues like sustainability and digital developments affect the design process in today’s world.
Over at the Victoria House B1 venue, visitors can browse the pop-up stores from more than 50 high-end design stores and boutique brands. Expect to find the newest tech accessories, design objects, one-off prints, handmade ceramics, statement jewelry, and more.
