N.E.E.D., a young architecture office in New York and Seoul, has been awarded the First Place ENYA Prize in the 2008 ENYA Biennial Competition. The competition was sponsored by Emerging New York Architects, Center for Architecture, American Institute of Architects New York State and Seamen’s Church Institute, and called for re-envisioning the South Street Seaport of New York City with a Community Center/Galleries for the Seamen’s Church Institute.

N.E.E.D. proposed an aquaculture-driven floating park, inlaid with combinational modules of public indoor programs.
