As the architecture profession continues to globalize, Spain is one country that has experienced an upsurge of locally based architects landing commissions abroad.
To shed light on this topic, architectural training platform Architect-US organized a panel discussion that will bring together some of today's leading architectural firms — including Sir Peter Cook as contributor, Andrés Jaque (2015 MoMA PS1 winner), and Nieto Sobejano Architects — to discuss this emerging model of international practice and the growing need for global dialogue in architecture.
The panel, which takes place at New York's Center for Architecture on June 25, accompanies an exhibition that highlights seven Spanish practices whose work flourishes outside the nation.
