Results for the Instant House Competition Are In

For the latest Instant House competition, design for a public pavillion for the 2015 biennale in Milan, Italy, the results have been announced: The 1st Prize goes to Fabrizio Fiscaletti (Italy), the 2nd Prize to Iris Hilton (France), and the 3rd Prize has been given to Stefano Tropea (Italy), Mikel Martinez (Spain) and Thomas Dieben (The Netherlands).

The international competition called for ideas that will complement social housing development, present and future, by building a catalogue of architecture that is sensitive to the environment and the territory, sustainability and the needs of wellness and the quality of life.

The winning design will be built by Federlegno Arredo S.r.l. in association with other institutions involved in the initiative at a predetermined site on the Vie d’Acqua (Water Route) at the 2015 Expo in Milan.

The contest was open to current students and recent graduates in the fields of architecture, engineering, and industrial design - Italian, as well as Non-Italian.
