RIBA announces longlist for 2015 Manser Medal

The longlist is out for the 2015 RIBA Manser Medal for the UK's Best New House. Established in 2001 in honor of former RIBA President and notable home designer Michael Manser, the medal distinguishes the most innovative house design by a UK-based architect.

This year's longlist showcases 2 private homes or major extension located through the UK that exhibit innovation, sustainability, and style and were completed within the past year.  In the next few months, the competition pool will narrow down for the shortlist, which will be announced on September 3, 2015.
