Send your proposals to the Bauhaus Museum Dessau open competition!

By Bustler Editors|

Thursday, Mar 5, 2015

The Foundation Bauhaus Dessau has big plans to celebrate the Bauhaus centennial anniversary. The Foundation and the City of Dessau-Roßlau is inviting the global architecture and design community to an open competition for the new Bauhaus Museum Dessau.

The winning concept will, of course, best meet the competition requirements as well as enhance and complement its location at City Park, found in the heart of Dessau, Germany.

Be sure to register + submit by the Phase One deadline on April 13!

More details below.

The Jury will select the winning design from the second-phase entries of the competition. Four top-prize winners and Honorable Mention winners will receive cash prizes.

The notable jury includes architects Regine Leibinger, Jürgen Mayer H, Barbara Holzer, Peter Kuras - Lord Mayor of Dessau-Rosslau; Claudia Perren - Director of Bauhaus Dessau Foundation; and Chris Dercon, Director of London's Tate Modern -- just to name a few.
