In December 2009, the good folks at our sister site Archinect launched the open call for ideas ‘Switzerland, We Have A Problem’ to find adequate architectural solutions to Switzerland’s most recent political ban of an internationally very common building type—the minaret.
Now, a few weeks after the deadline, all 60+ submissions to the initiative’s Flickr pool have been carefully reviewed, put together in a handy gallery - sorted by apparent architectural themes - and are now up for further discussion at the call’s synopsis, curated by Archinect editor Bryan Boyer. Happy commenting!
