37 UK projects win in 2015 RIBA National Award

A total of 37 of the United Kingdom's best new buildings were distinguished in the prestigious RIBA 2015 National Award, which offer insight into construction, design, and investment trends in the country. At a time when high-quality housing and school buildings are lacking, new housing developments and educational facilities came to the forefront in this year's National winning batch. Winners will be celebrated during a special event at the Serpentine Pavilion in London on July 8.

But the competition continues for the winning projects, which will now be shortlisted for the top RIBA Stirling Prize for the UK's best building of the year. RIBA will announce the shortlist on July 16, and the winner will be revealed at a special London event on October 15.
