The Schooldesigner.com is proud to announce our second annual Design Collabetition focused on showcasing unique Design features from K-12 schools around the world! New this year: Submit your Higher Education projects to be featured in Collegedesigner.com.
This unique competition allows you to submit those Designer Elements that are truly unique and help to create a wonderful learning environment.
Collabetition
Joel Sims, AIA, founder of Schooldesigner.com, likes to refer to this event as a “Collabetition” - a cross between collaboration and competition - with the ultimate goal of elevating the quality of school design around the world.
What better way to do this than to recognize and promote only the very best school designs? In doing so, designers find inspiration from each other´s work, and the term “Winner” is redefined, referring not just to an individual firm, but to everyone involved in the creation of our schools.
Awards
Overall awards for best Designer Elements will be given for k-12 schools and higher education facilities. In addition, special recognition will be given to outstanding entries in the following sub-categories:
Innovative Classroom
Green Piece
Fitness
Recognition
Winning entries will be featured in a future Schooldesigner Newsletter, which goes to over 30,000 school educators, administrators, and design professionals across the world each month. In addition, all winning entrants will receive:
International recognition on Schooldesigner.com or Collegedesigner.com.
