Andreu World is a contemporary furniture manufacturer based in Valencia, Spain, and are present in 65 countries for over the last 50 years.  J.Mariscal, W.Sawaya, Lievore, Altherr & Molina are listed among our top designers and we have chairs and tables in projects such as the Microsoft headquarters in Silicon Valley, the Trump Tower in Chicago and the Myth restaurant in San Francisco. We are also proud to say that all this work has not gone unrecognized. Recently, we were awarded with the 2007 National Design Prize by the Spanish government as well as the best dining chair design by the 2008 Wallpaper Magazine Design Awards.
With this competition Andreu World America would like to involve as many students and professionals as possible. In our commitment to innovation, sustainability and creativity, we must rely on tomorrow’s designers. The challenge for this year will be designing a chair or table which features; design, quality and technology. If you decide to share your creativity and expertise with us, you could have a chance toward one of our two grand prizes (valued at 5,000 and 3,000 Dollars) and become part of the new up-and-coming designers recognized by the contemporary European scene.
