On behalf of the organising committee,  the Malaysian Institute of Architects (Northern Chapter) together with the Penang State Government Of Malaysia, Penang Municipal Council and the Malaysian Institute of Planners (Northern Branch) are pleased to announce that an International Design Ideas Competition for ‘Urban Renewal For Rifle Range, Penang’ will be launched on Monday, 14 June 2010. Professional architects and town planners from around the globe are most welcome to participate in this exciting event. This competition is also open to students from the school of architecture and/or town planning. Closing date of the competition is on 15 September 2010.
