anonymous.d 02 - Lighting competition

Register/Submit Deadline:  Tuesday, Jan 10, 20121:59 AMEDT

CHALLENGE

The challenge of this competition is to design a lighting element that can be placed on a surface and is inspired by the following: "Under The (computer) Moon".
We very often sit in front of the computer at night with no other light but this of the computer screen which usually doesn't generate enough light to see whats around the small environment of the table. You are asked to design a small lighting element that will generate just about enough light to illuminate the working environment. Like a dash of sun popping out behind the moon...

Light is meant to illuminate...

The traditional definition of an artificial source of light as a light generating object has to be the essence of your work but the way of using it, Placing it, and maybe even powering it must be unique and innovative.

What we look for?

anonymous.d is looking for original responses... Something simple and unique that hasn't been seeing before. Your work has to represent an original way of using and generating light.
