Eme3 is consolidated as a forum to discover, understand and share new forms of architecture and urbanism strongly linked to the realities of today's society. The festival brings annually together producers of the new emerging architecture and provides a space for experimentation and debate.
The 8th edition of the eme3 festival will be held at Fabra i Coats in Barcelona from June 27 to 30, under the topic of "TOPIAS" utopias becoming real.
Eme3 invites architects, designers and artists to present innovative and unconventional projects that go beyond common trends in urban planning and construction.
Eme3 brings to the table some areas of reflection (new uses of public space, housing crisis, the evolving workspace) and two wildcards: the empty spaces of the factory Fabra i Coats, and Sant Andreu neighborhood where it is located.
Thanks to the sponsorship of the Fundación Jesús Serra, the best projects will be awarded, documented in the catalogue eme3 2013 and exposed to the public for a month.
The eme3 festival remains true to its commitment to openness and gratuity. Registration to the awards is free of cost.
