Call to Designers

galleryMADA is pleased to announce this call to designers in anticipation of our Fall 2010 launch.  Selected designers will be offered the opportunity of representation by galleryMADA in the exhibition and sale of their work. Our first exhibits will focus on the subjects of architecture and fashion. Artwork can be any medium (so long as it can be reproduced in the form of a 2D print) and from any point in the design process: from the first gestural studies all the way to polished presentations.

Selection Criteria:

1. Marketability - We are looking for beautiful and intriguing examples of the art produced during the design process.
2. Strong thematic inquiries and unique methods of investigation
3. Demonstrated strength and consistency of the designers portfolio
4. The designers story, achievements and desire to creatively market their own work – galleryMADA leverages the collective talent and network of our designers to promote the art of design

The mission of galleryMADA is to promote the art of emerging architects and designers.

Our collection covers a range of subjects, from architecture to fashion, and explores the types of drawings that designers use to develop ideas and convey intent. Utilizing the global reach of our website and a network of venues in Boston and New York we are able to provide designers with a powerful forum for the exhibition and sale of their work.
