International Museum of Volcanoes (IMOV) Lanzarote 2010

ARQUIDEAS, a company dedicated to divulging and organization of architectural contests, is pleased to invite all students of architecture in the international area, to the competition of ideas "International Museum of the Volcanoes (IMOV) Lanzarote 2010" to be held between the months of September 2010 and February 2011.

OBJECTIVE

The contest objective is to select the best idea for the International Museum of Volvanes (IMOV) located in the Timanfaya area on the island of Lanzarote.
We will pay special attention to their location and proposed relationship with the environment and the resolution needs program proposed in the Bases of the contest.

PRIZES

The following prizes will be awarded for the best proposals:

1st Prize
2,000 euros + Publication in Future Arquitecturas magazine + 1 year free subscription to Future Arquitecturas magazine + Book collection from Pencil Editorial.

2nd Prize
1,000 euros + Publication in Future Arquitecturas magazine + 1 year free subscription to Future Arquitecturas magazine + Book collection from Pencil Editorial.

3rd Prize
500 euros + Publication in Future Arquitecturas magazine + 1 year free subscription to Future Arquitecturas magazine + Book collection from Pencil Editorial.

Honorable mentions will be awarded to the most interesting in terms of architectural quality concerns, which have not received any of the three first prizes.
