Jury:
LEARNING BY DESIGN’s prestigious and nationally recognized jury of architects and educational facility planners considers all entries and selects those top projects in pre-K to 12 and college/university facilities to be honored with Grand Prize, 20th Anniversary Publisher’s Commendation Award, Citation of Excellence, and Honorable Mention

Judges evaluate each project based on the completeness of the submission and the quality of these components:
-Statement of challenges and solutions
-Exterior photographs showing main entrance and at least one other view
-Interior photographs showing instructional and support spaces
-Floor and site plan

LEARNING BY DESIGN jury members review projects without knowledge of the submitting firm’s name. Jury members represent a diverse panel of architects and educational facility planners. Those whose organizations or firms are represented among submitted projects must recluse themselves from all discussions regarding those projects.
