The London Festival of Architecture (LFA) will be taking place from 1 to 30 June 2014. Now in its 10th year the Festival is initiated by The Architecture Foundation, the British Council, RIBA London and New London Architecture to celebrate London’s role as a global hub of architectural experimentation, discussion, thinking, learning and practice. Leading cultural institutions including the Barbican, Design Museum, National Trust, Royal Academy of Arts, Serpentine Gallery and Sir John Soane Museum will be presenting activities across the city. Now the Festival is presenting a call for associated projects by independent practices, designers, artists and curators to form part of the Festival in 2014.
HOW TO GET INVOLVED
We are inviting proposals for independently-funded and delivered projects that respond to the 2014 Festivals' theme. These can take many forms such as: installations, exhibitions, debates, workshops, family activities, bike rides and walks*. A jury will select projects to be included in the official programme of the London Festival of Architecture 2014.
*Architects interested in participating in the RIBA London's Open Studios days should contact [email protected]
2014 THEME: CAPITAL
The London Festival of Architecture, now in its 10th year, is calling for participants to explore the dynamism of London - its architecture and open space - through this year's central theme, 'Capital', and its many facets.
