CALL FOR PROPOSALS
You Must Register an “Intention to Submit” your Kalil Grant Proposal

The mission of the Michael Kalil Endowment for Smart Design is twofold: to foster the understanding of the design intersections between nature and technology, and to support a heightened sense of responsibility for increasing the sustainability of built environments.


One $5000 Fellowship Grant is available annually for application by Scholars and Practitioners, inside or outside of the New School University:

•The Scholar/Practitioner Grant supports the project of a current faculty member or group of faculty members from any New School division, or an outside scholar/scholar group, or a practitioner from within any design field.
     
Intention to Submit Deadline: November 13, 2009

Application Deadline: December 31, 2009

Proposals will be blind, without indication of the author on or in the Proposal itself. Applicants are required to submit an electronic Intention to Submit Form. Each form is given a reference number in order to keep track of personal information and Proposal materials. Reference numbers will be placed on Project Proposals.
