An open call for ideas International Architecture Competition for new urban infrastructures.

THEME:
The understand of the infrastructure term must be relative to the structures that support a urbanized
society, so we ask to participating architects make a reinterpretation of one or a combination of the
5 (five) infrastructure topics listed below:

  1. Mobility: Roads, the street.
  2. Resources supply: Water, energy.
  3. Wastes: Organics, non organics, pollution, wastewater.
  4. Communication and energy grids: Internet, broadcasting, power grids. 
  5. Flood management systems: global warming,

REGISTRATION:
In order to register, an entrant must send an email by February 27, 2009, to competition@reinventcities.org and include all of the following information:
 
  + Name of entrant, whether individual or team.
  + If team, names of all members.
  + Email address for entrant.
  + Phone number for entrant.
  + Mail address for entrant.

JURY:
Federico Soriano (Spain)

PRIZE:
5000 USD

There is no entry fee
