ARKxSITE is pleased to announce the ‘SITE VISITOR CENTER’ international architecture competition for architecture students and young professionals.

This international one-stage architecture competition invites all architecture students and young professionals (≤ 40 years old) to develop and submit compelling ideas for the design of Visitor Center located near the megalithic monument Cromeleque dos Almendres, in the region of Évora, Portugal.

The Visitor Center is located within a serene and remarkable landscape. The Visitor Center aims to provide a space for visitors to become engaged with the historical heritage, focusing on the significance of megalithic monuments and the establishment of Neolithic communities in the region. The design proposal must be highly sensitive to the megalithic enclosure.
