Taiwan’s 1st culture-oriented architecture award

The 1st Spatial Native Language ArchiDesign Award 2008 is the leading culture-oriented architecture award for architects and designers in Taiwan and gives TWD1,500,000 (appr. US$50,000) in prize money. Inaugurated in 2008, it is sponsored by Spatial Native Language Foundation of Arts and Culture. Intended to bring wider introspection of Taiwan’s real architecture asethetics to a talented new generation of architects and designers by looking into the connection between traditional culture and modern art, the Award welcomes the acute design works from all over the world.

Awards are for either built/manufactured works or paper designs.

Submission deadline: September 1, 2008
