The FIVE Design Challenge is a competition calling on local and international thinkers from any discipline to generate ideas for solving real challenges facing our City, Cincinnati, as well as many other mid-size cities across the United States.

By inviting people from any discipline from anywhere on earth, we hope to spur problem-solving from a 360 degree vantage point.

How does a five day competition work?

Our website is launched with context information giving general background information relevant to the specific challenge. On February 3, the specific challenge is posted to the website and emailed to all registrants. February 8, entries are due.
