The principals of the Boston architecture firm Goody Clancy established the Clancy Award for Socially Responsible Housing to honor the decades of creative commitment John Clancy FAIA brought nationwide to the planning, design and construction of multifamily housing for diverse populations at all income levels.

The John Clancy Award for Socially Responsible Housing recognizes and encourages excellence in socially responsible urban housing by honoring an organization, a group or an individual who has been a major force behind one or more built housing developments characterized by excellence in planning, design and construction.

This award recognizes those who are presently making a difference in the lives of diverse populations of all income levels through the creation of high-quality multifamily housing. The award is open to any individual or team involved in completing such a project. Entries are due April 23; find a detailed call for entries at www.johnclancyaward.org .
