The Sungang-Qingshuihe area is the main development area in Shenzhen’s Twelfth Five-Year Plan and the primary propelling platform as the first try to build Luohu into an international consumer center. It has been gaining great attention from the CPC Shenzhen Municipal Committee and Shenzhen Municipal People's Government, as well as all circles of the society. Presently, the International Consultation of the Regeneration and Redevelopment of Sungang-Qingshuihe, Shenzhen, which was co-organized by the People’s Government of Luohu District, Shenzhen and Urban Planning, Land and Resources Commission of Shenzhen Municipality, and the integration of its deliverables have been completed. Meanwhile, the Development Unit Planning Framework of the Sungang-Qingshuihe Area now is on the way to be approved. The area will initiate its overall renewal, innovation and implementation.

In this context, the People’s Government of Luohu District, Shenzhen and Urban Planning, Land and Resources Commission of Shenzhen Municipality are jointly organizing the International Consultation on the Overall Urban Design Guidelines of Sungang-Qingshuihe, Shenzhen, and the International Consultation on the Subunit Planning of Sungang-Qinghuishe, Shenzhen. We hope that a unique and charming city image, and forward-looking, implementable subunit planning schemes for Sungang-Qingshuihe and its construction can be plotted with international visions and innovative ideas, so as to drive it to take the first try and become a demonstration area for building Luohu into the international consumer center.

This International Consultation is open to all design firms throughout the world.
