The Rotch Travelling Studio annually awards a $20,000 travel grant that enables architecture-school educators to take students abroad to study foreign architecture firsthand.

Proposals are invited from faculty members in all National Architectural Accrediting Board-accredited U.S. schools of architecture for travel anywhere in the world during the following calendar year. Studios are to be directed by the faculty applicant and are intended to supplement a specific design studio at the school. A grant of up to $20,000 is available; proposals should specify the sum being requested. The school of architecture within which the faculty member teaches will be the recipient of the grant, and will be responsible for both the dispersal of the funds and the performance of the studio.
The proposal deadline is October 23. For more information, visit www.rotchscholarship.org/studio.
