T3XTURE is a semi-annual international forum for architects, artists, writers, and designers interested in the haptic in architecture and art. Texture in architecture is the layering of geography, structure, space, constructions, materiality, digital fabrications, passages, ideas, and the movements of human activity in a composition thus determining the overall qualities of a form or place.
In the second issue T3XTURE Archizine investigates the "Texture of Ornament.” This call for submissions invites original work including: critical essays, built or unbuilt projects, exceptional photography, poems, or drawings that explore the idea of the texture of ornament in architecture, art, photography, and urbanism. The issue will feature an interview with Kent Bloomer of the Kent Bloomer Studio.
Submissions of texts and images or illustrations should be sent together with a short biography and a publication list as one single pdf-file before 6:45 PM EST March 20, 2015.
