The CID Awards celebrate outstanding achievements in the design and installation of tile and stone in both residential and commercial projects. Tile and stone offer designers, architects, installers and contractors infinite and enduring design styles with which to create character and beauty for their projects.

Eligibility
Submissions for the 2015 Coverings Installation & Design (CID) Awards competition are open to architects, designers, builders, contractors, distributors, retailers, installers and other professionals who demonstrate design and/or installation excellence in residential and commercial projects, giving special recognition to stunning stone and tile. Regardless of who submits the entry, awards will only be given to the project architect/designer or installer within the designated award category.
To be eligible:
• Projects must have been completed within the past two (2) years (January 2013 – December 2014)
• Projects can be located within or outside North America
• Firms must be from North America
• Firms outside North America are eligible for awards in the international category
• Multiple entries are accepted and encouraged. Please fill out a separate form for each entry.
How to Enter
Entries can only be submitted via the online entry portal by January 20, 2015. The submission will include a 500-word project narrative, materials information and a minimum of four (4) photo-graphs of the project (If submitting for an installation award, photographs of the actual install and a technical write up describing the install are required.)
In effort to keep judging totally anonymous, please leave out any mention of the designer, installer and others involved with the project in the narrative. The only place the projects should be identified are on the initial Entrant and Participant Details page.
Prizes
The installer and designer of the Grand Prize winning projects will each receive $2,000 and a one-night hotel stay in Orlando. Also, additional cash prizes in resi-dential, commercial, international and sustainability categories will be awarded as follows to the project designer/architect or installer. Additional projects may be recognized for categories including Artistic Use of Tile/Stone, Institutional, Community Project, etc., based on submissions received.
