The Critical Subjects Architecture Summer School from 13-19 July is a unique opportunity to engage in a series of architectural challenges facilitated by leading names in the field.

To win a place at the residential Summer School, you should apply by submitting a short response to the statement:
“There is nothing Modern about modern architecture”

To apply, simply explain your opinion by doing one of the following:
1. Create a short slideshow of no more than 10 slides containing images and a maximum of 200 words in total. Slideshows must be submitted either as PPT or PDF files.
2. Create a short film of no longer than two minutes. Films may include animations and a soundtrack. Submissions should be on a mpeg4 file.
Submissions should be sent to [email protected] and must be received no later than 7th May 2014.
Entries will be judged by an international panel of architects and critics. Successful candidates will be required to pay the summer school entrance fee of £240 which includes all accommodation within central London for the week.
In addition to winning a place at the summer school, the first 10 successful applicants will win a One Year Subscription to Architectural Review.
