DOM3 (Association of Businesses for the High End Real Estate Sector) presents the first edition of the DOM3 PRIZE for Architectural Excellence 2014 competition (http://www.dome3.es/en/dom3-prize-2014/), an international event that aims to promote the brand that is Marbella (Spain) and its surroundings, with a view to a promising future. Its aim is to show the world the excellent quality of the constructions in our area, the professionalism of the local businesses, which are involved in each project, and the architectural style that defines these properties.
Participating architects will present their proposals for a luxury villa, built over a plot measuring approximately ten thousand square meters. Their aim will be to unite the very best in architecture, design, landscaping and interior design. The chosen plot is located within the La Zagaleta “Resort” (http://lazagaleta.com/), an area defined by extensive green areas, low-density construction, low buildability indexes and height restrictions.
Spanish or foreign architects may take part in this first edition of the DOM3 Prize. It is not necessary to be a member of the professional architects association to participate in the competition. The execution of the winning project will need to signed by an architect legally empowered to exercise within Spanish territory. The submission deadline for submitting works for this first edition of the DOM3 Prize is Friday, 30 May 2014 at 18.00 hours.
