180 Creative Camp is back. The 5th edition of the event takes place from July 5th to 12th in the Portuguese city of Abrantes, representing once again one of the leading creativity gatherings worldwide.
Until May 31st artists can submit a proposal for an Urban Intervention Project up to 5.000€.
Creative collaborations in media arts is the main theme of this event developed by Canal180, that reunites again some of the most inspiring creators of the world from different areas of artistic expression for a week of creative intersections. Video, music, photography, design, architecture and urban art are some of the areas that will be remixed at the next 180 Creative Camp.
For the second consecutive year and in partnership with the Municipality of Abrantes, 180 Creative Camp launches the Open Call for Urban Intervention Projects, a contest that will select one proposal for an artistic intervention to be developed in the historical center of Abrantes. The purpose of this open call is to encourage the appropriation of the city’s public spaces by locals and visitors and the award of 5.000€ is destined to the project’s implementation. Architecture platform ArchDaily, Lisbon Architecture Triennale, German collective Plastique Fantastique, Canal180 and the Municipality of Abrantes will be represented in the jury of this open call.
