Fundación Arquitectura Contemporánea, a private initiative of a number of professionals interested in promoting contemporary architecture, aiming to open the scope of its activities to an international level, organizes a lecture series called MadeinSpain.com prestigious Spanish architects in three European capitals: Milan, Lisbon and Paris. Each conference will feature other than the speaker, a representative of the Fundación and a critic of architecture in the country where the act takes place, in order to open a wider debate on Spanish architecture and general state - current European architecture. The first lecture took place on 01 of October 2009 in Aula Rogers of School of Architecture at the Politecnico di Milano and taught Luis Moreno Mansilla, Mansilla + Tuñon office. The critique session took care of the Italian architect Cino Zucchi and the director of the Foundation, Gaia Redaelli. The series continued with the second lecture that took place on October 26th 2009 in the headquarters of the Ordem dos Arquitectos in Lisbon, and taught Carme Pinós. The critique session took care of the Portuguese architect and historian Ana Tostões and a patron of the Foundation, Pedro García del Barrio. Now, the series finalizes with the third lecture that will take place on Friday December 04th 2009, at 19:00 h in the Auditorium de la Cité de l’Architecture & du Patrimoine in Paris, and taught GUILLERMO VÁZQUEZ CONSUEGRA. The critique session will take care of the director of the French Institute of Architecture, Mr. Francis Rambert, and will include a patron of the Foundation, Francisco Daroca Bruño. All information regarding the cycle is available on a website created for broadcast, http://www.arquitecturacontemporanea.org/emadeinspain/ and in it you will find a brief biographical note on the participating architects, images of his works and information of critics and cultural institutions that collaborate in the celebration of the series. Subsequently, the page will host the video recordings of each conference, to be posted on the site once they have occurred.
