The Seventh Annual City of Santa Monica AltBuild Expo is the largest green building expo in Southern California. It is a two-day event featuring alternative building materials and design, returning to the Santa Monica Civic Auditorium, Friday and Saturday, May 7-8, 2010 from 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. each day. The Expo is free and open to the public and will include over 150 carefully selected exhibitors, all chosen for their work, representing the best in Green Building & Design Materials; Energy – Efficiencies and Alternatives; Best Green Practices in Water Conversation; Environmental Plumbing; Sustainable Landscaping and more.

Leading speakers in all sustainable and alternative building practices will conduct on-site seminars and discussions groups for the architect, building and design trades on Friday. Saturday speakers are geared for open workshops and discussion groups on Sustainable Design, Green Residential Remodeling and new ideas, laws and issues on what it means to be building green.
