Anttinen Oiva Architects: Recent Works

Newly Drawn: Emerging Finnish Architects Wednesday, March 14, 7 pm $10 ($7 ASF Members) Newly Drawn introduces the most interesting young, upcoming Finnish architects, their latest projects, and ways of working. Touring the world since 2009, the project consists of publications, exhibitions, film screenings, lectures, and workshops. The series of architectural lectures, panels, and discussions will be held in New York in spring 2012 and will be accompanied by an exhibition opening at the Center for Architecture on April 21, 2012. Anttinen Oiva Architects: Recent Works Vesa Oiva, co-founder of Anttinen Oiva Architects, speaks about the firm's recent and current projects, including Helsinki University Library, City Centre Campus Library, Kaisa Branch, which upon its completion in spring 2012 will be the largest academic library building in Finland. www.scandinaviahouse.org
