WORKSHOP ON BIO-ARCHITECTURE AND BIOBUILDING 1. The idea. In the increasing attention at Community level and national level towards sustainable energy development and use of environmentally friendly energy sources for new desires and needs of living in the city, was founded "Bio City. The intelligent city", workshops on sustainable architecture and green building oriented sustainability for a significant improvement of building and understanding life. The event aims to provide a cultural platform common to different subjects of training, allowing a re-label and multi-disciplinary design and sustainable construction in the redevelopment of the area and the construction sector. 2. The workshop The workshop will consist of two phases, a practice accompanied by a technical study and a comparison with theoretical experts called to end the day's work. The first phase will be visiting the city where you will see the greatest transformation interventions and urban regeneration in progress. The visit will continue with the judicial construction of the Citadel (David Chipperfield's project) and at the yard "area of Salerno former Casters" (project by Massimiliano Fuksas), on a housing project with high energy efficiency and low environmental impact. This first part ends with a theoretical session, a discussion on some technical issues of bio-architecture and the "Salerno case" among the Italian cities in the race to define his image as a future city. At the end will be issued certificates of participation to the participants leaving the option to join the second part of the day will feature a panel discussion open to all interested parties. The round table, with the participation of experts and representatives of institutions and institutional protagonists of organic life, and will address the theme of contemporary perspectives, in which sustainability in all its dimensions will be used increasingly to combine our quality of life with that of future generations. 3. Objectives and Targets. Why participate? The main objective is to give a systematic view of the aspects that come into play in assessing the sustainability of the building, with a handy cutting and multi-disciplinary. Target audience: undergraduates and graduates in architecture or engineering, architects, engineers, appraisers, surveyors, agronomists, energy-managers, equipment manufacturers and innovative facilities, designers, planners, professionals, entrepreneurs and all those who believe in the sustainability of innovation. 4. The organizational structure of the event. Information: For the first part of the workshop is compulsory registration.
