Building Enclosure Sustainability Symposium (BESS)

The Cal Poly Pomona Department of Architecture and Simpson Gumpertz & Heger Inc. are pleased to announce BESS-SB13 CALIFORNIA, a peer-reviewed technical conference to explore the state of the art in professional and academic approaches and experiences related to the design and implementation of net zero buildings. BESS-SB13 will focus on six major topics: innovative design, improving existing building stock, validation, affordability, user control, and education. The scheduled papers to be presented at the conference represent authors from 11 countries, namely: Argentina, Brazil, Cyprus, Denmark, Egypt, Finland, Portugal, Spain, Sweden, United States and Venezuela. http://www.bess-sb.org/13/
