The response to the proposed Lower Manhattan expressway has never been more relevant than in today's rapidly changing NYC neighborhoods. Learn about prominent themes and key players in the story of the Lower Manhattan Expressway through the lens of three different creative approaches. The panel includes Judd Greenstein and Joshua Frankel (composer and director of A Marvelous Order - the opera about Robert Moses and Jane Jacobs); Jack Tchen (Founder of the A/P/A Institute at NYU and co-curator of our LOMEX exhibit); and Peter Laurence (author of Becoming Jane Jacobs). This is a free event but reservations are required. RSVP to [email protected]. Our exhibition on LOMEX will be open for viewing for the event.
