elCASC

Elcasc is an academic and institutional event that will take place in the historic centre of Villena organized by the architectural office el fabricante de espheras, the Villena’s city council and the University of Alicante. Over the course of 10 days, a 200-strong multi-disciplinary group of students and young professionals from around the world will devise and deliver a series of low-cost architectural, artistic and cultural interventions. These workshops will be led by young well-known tutors. elCASC - 1 FESTIVAL // 200 PARTICIPANTS // 10 DAYS // SUMMER // SPAIN elcasc consists of 12 practical workshops and a theoretical seminar about the historical centre reactivation through different disciplines like architecture, design, art, urbanism, restoration, sociology, economy, engineering or audiovisual communication. Moreover, it will offer different activities in order to discover the city and its boundaries so the evolution and the current historical centre conditions can be understood.
