Financing Energy Efficiency: Who Has the Cash?

Tuesday, Oct 5, 20104 AMEDT

45-50 30th Street, 7th Floor, Long Island City 11101 Long Island City, Queens NY | 45-50 30th Street, 7th Floor, Long Island City 11101 Long Island City, Queens NY

November 4, 2010 | 6-9pm | $45 There are not large bags of cash and willing government programs with full grants for your solar panels and windmills. There is, however, a series of programs that, when combined, can help most buildings reduce their usage if they are willing partners. Stop worrying about why no one is giving you free money and find out how to run your buildings within the system. 2.5 AIA credits awarded. To register, please contact Frederick John at 718.663.8404 or online at http://greenhomenyc.org/post/2968 About the Series: GreenHomeNYC, New York’s leading voice in the adoption of sustainable building methods and materials, and NYDesigns, a CUNY program advocating for smart design entrepreneurship, bring you a fall roster of classes that will get you up to date on new trends and issues in sustainable building. If you’re new to the field, our classes will lay a solid foundation for you to move forward. If you’re currently engaged in the green building space, invest in a deeper investigation of the day’s burning questions with our experienced and committed instructors. Instructor: Andrew Padian, The Community Preservation Corporation F.L. Andrew Padian is Vice President for Energy Initiatives for The Community Preservation Corporation (CPC), a not-for-profit affordable housing lender throughout NY, NJ, and CT. At CPC, he is assisting in the implementation of the Energy Efficiency Loan Program, working with CPC staff and building owners across the tri-state area.
