In conjunction with the opening weekend of the exhibition Guggenheim Helsinki Now: Six Finalist Designs Unveiled, presented at the Kunsthalle Helsinki from April 25 through May 16, 2015, the Solomon R. Guggenheim Foundation will present two public programs featuring outstanding architects from Denmark, Finland, and the United States. BIG Gang Saturday, April 25, 2015, 3 pm Bjarke Ingels, Founder and Principal of Bjarke Ingels Group, and Jeanne Gang, Founder and Principal of Studio Gang Architects and a member of the jury for the Guggenheim Helsinki Design Competition, will deliver lectures on their work, followed by a question-and-answer session moderated by Pekka Timonen, General Secretary of the Centenary of Finland’s Independence 2017. The program will be introduced by Richard Armstrong, Director of the Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum and Foundation.
