More information and Conference Program: www.bienalmiami.com THEMES | TEMAS • Professional Education for International Practice in Architecture • International Accreditation In the international threshold city of Miami, Florida, Bienal Miami + Beach 2009 invites Deans of Architecture from across the Americas to take part in a unique conversation on architecture education and global practice. We propose to advance vigorous discussion on a range of topics: Professional design curricula; opportunities for research and collaboration in an international context; the preparation of students for global practice; and international models for accreditation. In advance of the meeting we invite conference participants to contribute representative examples of the work of their programs to an exhibition centered on design education in the Americas. Presentations and a roundtable discussion will introduce attendees to the range of work produced by professional design programs in our hemisphere. Bienal Miami + Beach will publish proceedings of the meeting including illustrations of all the exhibited work.
