Glass in Contemporary Architecture

“Architecture reflects the spirit of time. Glass means lightness, transparency, communication, interaction”, arch. Paolo Brescia

“At this point, glass appears as unique component to create visual and meaningful relation due to its transparency. While this transparency enables visual contact, the material is able to define a space at the same time”, arch. Gokhan Avcioglu

“I believe that glass upgrades the metal, and the metal protects the glass when they are smartly used together”, Prof. dr. Eng. Dan Dubina

“A debate on the glass of architecture and the architecture of glass it is important, sometimes as an essential message, a message in a bottle”, arch. Serban Tiganas
